It’s Happy Birthday to Me and I wanted to share it with You.
It’s late in the day, the end of my Birthday. I had a very relaxing day doing absolutely nothing. Ordered in some Pizza, watched a movie with my daughter and just relaxed.

It’s Monday again! I am going to write a few posts about Building My Blog as I set this up, just because it will keep me motivated to do a good job. Besides, it’s funner this way.
I had to uninstall my previous version of Wordpress…it was not cooperating.
After a fresh install of the latest version and uploading the Amazing Grace theme, all seems to be working right again. At the time of this writing, I don’t have anything on my sidebars organized the way I want them, it’s all standard right now.
I will be adding a block of 4 ads to the far right and organize my posts, pages, archives & others in the sidebar.
I’ve already changed the pics in the header to my own Mt. Rainier pics that I took during a hike. If you go to Wordpress and look up this theme you will notice the pics are all different. Everytime you go to a new category or refresh the page, the pic changes.
- Changed pics in header to my own.
- Add block of ads to far right sidebar.
- Organize widgets to my satisfaction.
- Fill in the About page so peeps can get to know me
- Decide if I want a static front page….hmmmm….
Along the way I will be adding some audio and video. I have never done audio on a blog so that will be fun to learn. I have added video to a blog, but I have never added a video of me talking, so in the near future you will get to see that too. Aren’t you excited? rofl
Okay, enough of this first post, I am going to work on #’s 2-5 now.
