My Online Resources
These are products or sites that I actually use.
I like the one stop feature of GVO. (Global Virtual Opportunities), they used to be Kiosk. I use it to host all my sites, my auto-responder, video creation and submission, conferencing and a few other goodies that help me maintain my blogs.
I only use GVO. If I ever sign on to a second one, I’ll add it to my list.
Video Creation…
I’m learning to use Sony Vegas, and I also like Camtasia. I’m sure you can get a free version of CamStudio online somewhere!
Graphics…
I love Photoshop! But there are great programs out there for free, like Gimp, and plenty of places online to be creative with your photos and music.
FTP (File Transfer Protocol)…
I used to use FlashFXP, and while I really like it, I started using FileZilla recently and have decided I like the interface a little better. It seems more in tune with FireFox and transfers my files faster. Of course I use the freebies as much as I can!
DreamWeaver MX…
I haven’t found anything better for quick fixes (except Notepad), that I like to use for changing up salespages and squeezepages and thank you pages…. lol. It can seem a little overwhelming at first, but you don’t have to be an html whiz to use it.
Social Media…
I love Tweetdeck and su.pr for keeping track of accounts and scheduling tweets. Did you know you could also use Skype to post to ping.fm… ya… just add them to your contacts in Skype and with one little post, it will share what you think to the places you have hooked up to your profile. Go to ping.fm first to sign up for an account (free) and add your accounts like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.. there’s a mega list on their site!
I recently downloaded/installed Windows LiveWriter. I have not actually used it to post to my blogs yet, but from what I’ve seen, it’s a pretty slick way to post to a number of blogs with just a few mouse clicks.

There’s a whole host of products that I use for different things like, posting to article directories, spinning articles, plugins for my blog, keeping track of logins (RoboForm!). I’m checking out Ross Goldberg’s latest creation for making all of my spinning and posting much easier. I’ll let you know more about it… It’s called Traffic Magnet.
As I check out new things, I’ll let you know whether or not I like them, and if they become a regular part of my marketing arsenal, I’ll post it here. And yes… most times it will be an affiliate link! So thanks for supporting the introverted artist in me!
